Cette salle permet d\u2019exposer plus d\u2019une centaine d\u2019\u00e9chantillons de roches remarquables. font-size: 24px\"> \nNum\u00e9risation 3D\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-family:Helvetica ;font-size: 16px; line-height: 22px; text-indent:2em; \", align=\"justify\"> \nLa <strong>num\u00e9risation<\/strong> de plusieurs dizaines d\u2019\u00e9chantillons en 3 dimensions, visualisable via  <a href=\"https:\/\/sketchfab.com\/TectoUMG\/collections\" target=\"_blanck\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a9Sketchfab<\/a >, est un outil suppl\u00e9mentaire pour les \u00e9tudiants. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 aliment\u00e9e par <a href=\"https:\/\/collectionsgeol3d.gm.umontpellier.fr\/?page_id=637\">plusieurs g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de g\u00e9ologues montpelli\u00e9rains<\/a>, notamment \u00e0 partir des ann\u00e9es 1960 sous l\u2019impulsion du professeur Maurice Mattauer (1928-2009). L\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat de l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.umontpellier.fr\/\" target=\"_blanck\" rel=\"noopener\">Universit\u00e9 de Montpellier<\/a> pour les sciences de la Terre commence d\u00e8s Pierre Gervais de Rouville (1823-1907) qui occupe la chaire de Min\u00e9ralogie et G\u00e9ologie. Les chercheurs se distinguent lors de la \u00ab r\u00e9volution microtectonique \u00bb qui utilise la g\u00e9ologie structurale comme un pont entre les observations de terrain et la reconstitution des mouvements pass\u00e9s des plaques tectoniques \u2013 citons quelques noms embl\u00e9matiques de scientifiques pass\u00e9s par l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montpellier : Maurice Mattauer, Fran\u00e7ois Arthaud, Maurice Brunel, Jean-Pierre Burg, Pierre Choukroune, Jacques Malavieille, Philippe Matte, Jean-Pierre Petit, Francois Proust, Adolphe Nicolas, Fran\u00e7oise Boudier, David Mainprice, etc.<BR>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:Helvetica ;font-size: 16px; line-height: 22px; text-indent:2em; \", align=\"justify\"> \nDe nombreux <a href=\"https:\/\/collectionsgeol3d.gm.umontpellier.fr\/?page_id=637\" target=\"_blanck\" reel=\"no opener\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00e9chantillons patrimoniaux<\/a> de la collection ont \u00e9t\u00e9 sauv\u00e9s de l&#8217;oubli gr\u00e2ce au travail formidable de Maurice Brunel, v\u00e9ritable m\u00e9moire des recherches en tectonique \u00e0 Montpellier, que nous remercions ici chaleureusement pour son enthousiasme et sa disponibilit\u00e9. <BR>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:Helvetica ;font-size: 16px; line-height: 22px; text-indent:2em; \", align=\"justify\"> \nCette collection continue d&#8217;\u00eatre aliment\u00e9e par les travaux de recherche des scientifiques du laboratoire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gm.umontpellier.fr\/\" target=\"_blanck\" rel=\"noopener\">G\u00e9osciences Montpellier<\/a> (par exemple, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Gueydan, Roger Soliva, Emilien Oliot, Gr\u00e9gory Ballas, Pierre Labaume). \n<BR>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:Helvetica ;font-size: 16px; line-height: 22px; text-indent:2em; \", align=\"justify\"> \nLa collection comprend des \u00e9chantillons pr\u00e9sentant tous <a href=\"https:\/\/collectionsgeol3d.gm.umontpellier.fr\/?page_id=635\">les types de d\u00e9formation existants dans une plaque lithosph\u00e9rique<\/a>.
