Le plan plus ou moins lisse du miroir de faille marque le frottement et la direction du mouvement de la faille. Les fibres vertes de serpentinite pr\u00e9cipit\u00e9es sont issues de l\u2019alt\u00e9ration de la p\u00e9ridotite. Les fibres blanch\u00e2tres sont des fibres chrysotiles (fibre d\u2019amiante).  La matrice noire de la p\u00e9ridotite est assombrie par la pr\u00e9sence de magn\u00e9tite. Ce bloc de roche est poli et marqu\u00e9 par des marches d\u2019escalier et des stries.
